Description

Humanities Teacher needed ASAP in the UAE

The school is located in Al Ain which is a calm an quiet region of the UAE. It recently became advancED accredited as well as an IB world school,  We need to someone to be able to start ASAP or soon after the holidays
 
What you need to apply
**Have a degree in Humanities or Social Studies
**Have a valid teaching license 
**Have a minimum of 2 years teaching experience
**MUST be western trained with a high command of written and spoken English
**Strong with using technology in the classroom
**Ideally have experience of the IB, US Common Core or AP curriculum

Housing is located about 20 minutes drive from the school

Salary Package
**UP to 14,800 AED per month (£2500/$4700 CDN/$4000 USD)
**Accommodation - FREE and fully furnished
**Medical - FREE
**Visa and residency - FREE
**Air Flight - FREE
**Utility allowance 500 AED per month - FREE
**Baggage allowance of 500 USD (claimable on receipt)
**FREE tuition for 2 of your children
**Bonus pay as per the labour law
 
This is a 2 year contract that is renewable based on mutual agreement. The school will interview you over Skype. We are looking to recruit someone ASAP so you need to be able to fly in a week or maximum 2 should you be appointed.

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelors Degree with a PGCE/PGDE (QTS)
Experience:
2 Years

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Newly Qualified Teachers are NOT considered
Prefer candidates with international experience
Additional:
**Degree has to be in Geography/History or a Social Studies subject
**Experience of the IB Curriculum is beneficial but not essential as training will be given
**Be willing to attend IB workshops and training

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 12000 up to 14800   AED (UAE Dirham) per month based on experience and qualification, TAX FREE

500AED per month
