A Level Art & Design Teacher | Teach in China | March 2015 start
 
One of our established client in Shanghai is recruiting for an A Level Art & Design teacher to join them in March 2015.
 
This private post 16 school is located in Shanghai city approximately 20 mins away from the famous Bund along the Huangpu river. The school is located is a convenient location with only minutes away from local restaurants, shops, gym, shopping mall and metro station.
 
To apply for the position, you must have the following:
 
- A degree in relevant subject area and can demonstrate excellence and expertise in the specialist area
- Have experience in teaching A Level to ESL students
- Teaching qualification such as PGCE
- Would like to have a unique teaching experiences to well-behaved Chinese students
- Are a committed educator and passionate teacher
 
Job descriptions:
 
- Having a general lesson plans for all lessons
- Teaching strictly to the syllabus
- Having a secure knowledge and understanding of the programs
- Promoting and adhering to school policies
- Participating in and/or help organise extracurricular activities
- Regularly evaluating their own performance and progress
- Working as part of team member and sharing the development of effective practice with them
- Recording attendances at lessons

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification
Experience:
2 Years

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Prefer candidates with international experience
Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 18,000 up to 25,000  CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) per month based on experience and qualification, 10-25 % Tax is applied
Housing:
Housing allowance of 5,000RMB  CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) provided
Medical:
State/Public medical provided
Flights:
8,000RMB  CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) Allowance is provided
Bereavement Leave:
Bereavement leave given
Emergency Evacuation:
Emergency evacuation given
Contract Length:
2 years contract renewable on mutual agreement
