Geography Teaching position in Malaysia | ASAP start | Face to face interview
 
SeekTeachers is seeking a Geography teacher to be based in the beautiful Malaysia. The school provides educational service for students from year 5 to year 16 year old following both UK international Cambridge Curriculum and Malaysia national curriculums.
 
Minimum requirements:
 
- Bachelor degree in Geography or relevant subject
- Teaching qualification such as PGCE/QTS
- 2 years teaching experience
- English native speaker
- Teaching experience in CIE curriculum
 
The school is situated in Johor Bahru, a state in the south peninsular of Malaysia and just across the causeway from Singapore. The school has a charming and quiet surrounding and provides excellent facilities such as air-conditioned classrooms, ICT lab, Science lab, music room, gymnasium, badminton hall, basketball court, tennis court, indoor swimming pool, art & design room, squash court and cafeteria. 
 
The whole school has about 1,000 students at present with a small percentage of expatriates. Students are aged between 5 to 16 years and they are discipline, hardworking and keen to learn.

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification
Experience:
2 Years

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Prefer candidates with international experience
Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 8,000 up to 11,000  MYR (Malaysian Ringgit) per month based on experience and qualification, 10-25 % Tax is applied
Housing:
Housing allowance of RM1,500   MYR (Malaysian Ringgit) provided

State/Public medical provided
