A British International School is currently recruiting for Primary teachers to join their successful team in August 2015. A successful candidate should have the following:
 
- Bachelor degree in Primary Education or relevant subject
- Teaching qualification such as PGCE/QTS/Teaching license/Teaching Diploma
- English native speaker
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience
- Familiar with the UK curriculum
 
The school has two unique campuses in Malaysia one about 7 kilometres from Cyberjaya, and Kajang, around 25 kilometres from KLCC. The two schools both teach the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) and the National Curriculum of English (NCE) but integrate these curricula heavily with an ICT skillset. English is used at all levels to teach and English Second Language courses are used to help teach those who do not have English as a primary language. The school practices a Holistic Education philosophy which helps to encourage students to strive towards academic excellence but also foster respect, integrity, compassion and other fundamentally important values.
 
Facilities included at the schools include a Badminton Court, a Basketball Court, a Squash Court, a Volleyball Court, a Gymnasium, a Swimming Pool, a Football Field, a Tennis Court, Medical Facilities, an IT Support Centre, a Bookshop, a Cafeteria, Music Rooms, a Lecture Hall & Ampitheatre and fully air-conditioned classrooms, workshops and laboratories. The school also utilizes a school-wide WiFi hotspot for instant internet access and is surrounded by over five acres of green land.

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Prefer candidates with international experience
Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 7,000 up to 9,000  MYR (Malaysian Ringgit) per month based on experience and qualification, 10-25 % Tax is applied
Housing:
Housing allowance of RM1,500  MYR (Malaysian Ringgit) provided
