One of the top British international school in Cairo is now seeking a professional and enthusiastic Chemistry teacher to join their successful team in August 2015.
 
The international school is situated in a well-developed area in Cairo and has a large expatriate community. It provides both UK National curriculum and International Baccalaureate programmes to students in the school.
 
There are about 1200 students in the school studying from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 5 or the IB Diploma programme. Local Egyptians dominates 90% of the student's population while the remaining of the students are expatriates.

Duties and responsibilities:
 
**Use different teaching strategies to deliver lesson and observe student learning development
**Work with student of various abilities
**Establishes a positive relationship with parents of the students
**Participate in the school’s Professional Review arrangements
**Make use of textbooks, ICT and other learning resources in an appropriate way
**Carry out any other reasonable duties given by the Head
**Provide guidance and advice to students when they face difficulties
**Be a good role model to students

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification
Experience:
3 Years
Type of Staff:
Male or Female can apply to this job
Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Prefer candidates with international experience
Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 14,000 up to 18,000  GBP (British Pound) per annum based on experience and qualification, TAX FREE
Housing:
Housing allowance of 4,000 EGP  GBP (British Pound) provided

State/Public medical provided

Flight(s) provided
