An IGCSE Mathematics  teacher in urgently needed for one of the prestigious international school in Egypt for immediate start. This is a permanent position based in Cairo, the capital city of Egypt.
 
An ideal candidate must have a degree in Mathematics/Education or equivalent and a teaching qualification from western country. If you are professional and experienced IGCSE Mathematics teacher with at least 2-3 years teaching experience, apply NOW!

Duties and responsibilities:
 
- Plan, prepare and deliver lessons that meet the needs of all students through differentiate of tasks
- Ensure learning material and curriculum are up to date
- Supervise students in the school activities and trips
- Maintain good order and discipline amongst students
- Communicate with parents and ensure they are aware of their children's progress
- Carry out duties given by the Head of Department
- Encourage students to build their self-esteem
 
The international school provides education to students following the UK National curriculum and International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). The number of students is just over 1,000 with majority of them are Egyptian students. The teaching staff, however, is consisted of mainly expatriates with just 10% of non-expatriates. 
 
This international school is located in a new development in Cairo with a large expatriate community. The school has a purpose built campus  equipped with great sport facilities, ICT and Science labs, art & design workshop, performing arts facilities medical centre and cafeteria. Both students and teachers will have access to all these amazing facilities.
 
The teaching hour consists of 35 hours per week from Monday to Friday and professional development is provided to all staff exposure their success and promotes high quality of learning.

Qualification:

Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 14,000 up to 18,000  GBP (British Pound) per annum based on experience and qualification, TAX FREE

Housing allowance of 4,000 EGP  GBP (British Pound) provided
