Our prestigious client in the metropolis Shanghai is looking to recruit a professional and confident teacher with a strong background of Chemistry.
This school follows Cambridge International Examination (CIE) syllabus for students from Year 10 to Year 13. The population of the students are 400, they are all local Chinese students age range 15 to 18 years old.

*Contributing to the excellence of teaching and learning on IGCSE, A’Level Chemistry
*Planning, preparing and delivering lessons
*Monitoring, recording and assessing pupils’ progress
*To review pedagogy regularly in order to ensure the most effective and suitable style to improve student performance
*Maintaining classroom disciplines
*Participating in continuous professional development activities
*Participating in parents meeting
*Ensuring parent aware student’s learning progress
*Adaptable to new environment
The school campus is located in the city of Shanghai with well-equipped facilities include climate controlled classrooms, library, computer labs, science labs, gymnasium, multi-purpose hall, basketball courts, football fields and cafeteria.
There are 40 highly qualified staff from western countries ie America, Australia, Canadian, New Zealand and the UK. The teachers are mixed with 80% expatriates and 20% non-expatriates. The work week is about 30 hours 5 days a week and teachers can get 6-8 weeks holiday per year.
Shanghai is one of the fast growing cities in China, which mixed with rich heritage of ancient historic Chinese culture and landmark, as well as the growing and contemporary Pudong Skyline. This city is absolutely modern and thriving. There are many attractions in the city, from museums, ancient towns to shopping arcades, world financial centres and nightclubs. As Shanghai is a very international city and has a large expat community, it is easy to meet new people and make friends.
