SeekTeachers is currently recruiting for a professional and committed IBDP Business Studies teacher on behalf of our prestigious client. This role is permanent and will be based in Shanghai, China.
This private school has 2 campuses in the city, primary and secondary. The primary department is located in the heart of the city where it is in the protected architectural heritage area of Shanghai. The secondary department is situated at the suburb of the city which is only 30 minute drive from the SWFC the tallest building in China and it is also reachable by the metro too.
The secondary campus has approximately 400 students with majority local Chinese students and 15% expatriate students. There are also 40 well-trained teaching staff in the school comprised of 70% expatriate teachers and 30% non-expatriate teachers. Staff is continually provided professional development and support in all areas to build forward thinking instructors.
Minimum requirements:
** Bachelor Degree in Business Studies or relevant subject
**Relative teaching qualification
**Minimum 5 years of teaching experience, ideally in IBDP curriculum
**Native English speaker
**Excellent team player as well as work individually
**Be able to work under pressure
**Flexible and adaptable to new culture
