Our client, a private school in China, is seeking a flexible and positive Primary English Teacher to join the team in August 2015. The job description is as follow:
- Create a high quality, rich, stimulating and enabling learning environment containing items that will capture pupils’ attention and lead to independent exploration
- Make effective use of assessment information on pupils’ attainment and progress when teaching and in planning future learning.
- Teaching and classroom management
- Set high expectations for pupils’ behaviour, establishing and maintaining a good standard of discipline through well focused
- Establish a safe, clean and secure learning environment which promotes pupils’ confidence
- Providing frequent opportunities for pupils to learn through talk and interaction
- Modelling good social skills to children
- Listening carefully to pupils, analysing their responses and responding constructively in order to take their learning forward
- Selecting and making good use of ICT and other learning resources which enable learning objectives to be met
The school is follows both Chinese national curriculum and International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP).

China which is located at the suburb of Beijing. The whole length of the Great Wall is 13,000 miles long from east to west and it was built in 206 BC by the first Emperor of China and made by hand with stones. The Chinese said "Who has never been to the Great Wall is not a real man". There are also a large expat community and it is very easy to meet new people and make friends.
