Our client in Egypt is flying to interview for a specialist teacher of French that can teach from Key Stage 2 to key Stage 5. You need to be a teacher that is adaptable and has good technical knowledge of the French language.
 
You will be mainly teaching French to Egyptian students that come from affluent families and are keen to learn. The school is well established with an excellent reputation in the region and is part of a large education group.

Job Description - French Teacher
**Plan lesson from Key Stage 2-5 that will engage students in learning French
**To teach from Key Stage 2 to A' level French in all four skills – listening, speaking, writing and reading
**To ensure that all pupils are ready and well equipped to take the examination
**Ensure that homework is given, done by the pupils and subsequently marked
**Ensure that good study habits are developed in class
**Attend Parents’ Evenings and communicate with colleagues and parents to keep all
concerned informed about the progress of all pupils
**Write termly and yearly reports for each pupil
**Keep appropriate records
**Attend teachers’ meetings and other meetings when appropriate
**Abide by the School’s policies and procedures
**Liaise with the SENCO regarding pupils with diagnosed or suspected special educational needs and write IEPs for these children
**Ensure you maintain order and good discipline in your classroom to safeguard your students
**Prepare for students that are Gifted and Talented

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelors Degree with a PGCE/PGDE (QTS)
Experience:
3 Years
Type of Staff:

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Newly Qualified Teachers are NOT considered
Prefer candidates with international experience
Additional:
**Experience of working in Africa is beneficial
**Degree should in French with PGCE in MFL holding QTS

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary up to 18,000  GBP (British Pound) per annum based on experience and qualification, TAX FREE
Housing:
Housing allowance of 300  GBP (British Pound) provided
Medical:
State/Public medical provided
Flights:
Flight(s) provided annual flights for the employee only
Contract Length:
2 weeks contract renewable on mutual agreement
Additional information:
**Annual no absence bonus
