SeekTeachers is looking for experienced Teachers of Reception to join a school in Cairo, Egypt for the next academic year. The Principal will be flying to London to interview in person and will been keen to meet you if you have the following:
**A B.Ed in Early Childhood or
**A Bachelor's degree with a PGCE in Early Childhood with EYPS status
**At least 3 years teaching experience
**Western trained
**Have excellent knowledge and experience of Jolly Phonics
**Be a good team player
**Be flexible to adapting to the teaching culture in Egypt

The school delivers the British national curriculum and also delivers the IB curriculum as the higher age. Students are very warm and friendly and there will be little need for behaviour management. The parents are keen to know about their child's progress also so you will need to be very hands-on.

At the reception years the school delivers the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum and so you need to be a teacher that promotes students learning social skills and work on developing their personality
Job Description - Reception Teacher
**Plan and deliver details lesson plans
**Ensure your students have a safe and positive learning environment
**Be able to build on what the children already know and can do
**Promote good values and morals to the students as per the schools policy
**Attend department meetings
**Help students provide progression from FS1 to FS2 and then to Year 1
**Promote the values of the EYFS: Personal, Social and Emotional, Communication, Language and Literacy, Mathematical Development, Knowledge and Understanding of the World, Creative Development, Physical Development and play
**Ensure your marking and reports are up to date
**Carry out formative and summative assessment
**Be responsible for students nutrition
**Talk and discuss Childs progress with parents
**Attend parents evening
**Assist in after school clubs and events
**Support initiatives decided by the Principal, SLT and other staff
**Plan appropriately to meet the needs of all pupils, through differentiation of tasks
**Lead, organise and direct support staff within the classroom
**Maintain good order and behaviour amongst pupils, in accordance with the school's behaviour policy
**Maintain the positive ethos and core values of the school, both inside and outside the classroom
