Job Description - Teacher of Physics
**Create an outstanding teaching environment for your students to learn
**Prepare resources for practical lab lessons
**To plan lessons that have are diverse to meet the need of individual learners
**Understand and be up to date with any changes in the Scheme of Work or Curriculum
**Attend Science Department meetings and contribute effectively
**Be sure to be on top of your marking and ensure all data is stored as per the school policy
**Make sure your classroom is a safe learning environment where apparatus is put away
**Teach students Physics to their education needs
**Use a variety of teaching methodology to create a stimulating yet supportive teaching environment to meet the need of your learners and also cater for the demands of the syllabus
**Have an excellent classroom behaviour policy and be prepared to intervene when needed
The school has bespoke Science labs with specialist teachers or each of the Sciences. We are looking for both Male Physics Teachers and Female Physics Teachers to apply to this job. If you have experience of the IB MYP or IBDP curriculum or have strong knowledge of the USA Common Core it will be advantageous to your application
