Description

Our client is an established international school is Cairo, Egypt. The international school is hiring for a French teacher to join them in August 2014.
 
 The school management team will be visiting London in January 2015. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a face to face in London.
 
This international school adopts the British International curriculum to children from Year 1 to IGCSE level and International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) to children in Year 12 and 13. There are over 1,000 children in the whole school at present aged between 3 to 18. Children are comprised of 80% Egyptians and 20% expatriates.
 
Job descriptions:
 
- Plan lessons in accordance with the school policies and schemes of work;
- Consistently teaching at a high level;
- Prepare appropriate teaching materials;
- Implement teaching programmes using a variety of methods;
- Monitor the progress of individual students;
- Attend necessary meetings;
- Ensure good study habits are developed in class;
- Able to work as part of a team while using initiative within work requirements

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification
Experience:
3 Years

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Prefer candidates with international experience
Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 14,000 up to 18,000  GBP (British Pound) per annum based on experience and qualification, TAX FREE
Housing:
Housing allowance of 4,000 EGP  GBP (British Pound) provided
