Early Years specialist Teaching Job

SeekTeachers is seeking teachers that are qualified and experienced to teach at Early Years in an international school in the growing country of Zambia.

We are looking for teachers that would be keen to work in a region that is full of change currently.  Our client is a leading international school that is growing in the number of students and so it requires staff that will come in and make a difference.  The student’s population is an international mix with students coming from affluent local and expatriate families, including China, India, Zambia, America, South Africa and the UK.

Your duties will include:
**Teaching lessons as per the UK NC framework
**Differentiate the lessons to meet the needs of an international student classroom
**Carry out on-going assessment
**Ensure you have a mark book which is kept up to date
**Attend weekly meeting with your line manager
**Assist in the development of the curriculum
**Training other teachers by delivering model lessons
**Help plan trips and after school clubs
**Be able to build relationships with parents and provide them feedback of their child's progress
**Teach jolly phonics to a high level

The school is fairly small but recently has started to increase in student enrolment with about 600 students and growing.  Classrooms are well equipped and the leadership is strong to assist in support to teachers.  All teachers will be provided with a full inset and the school has a handbook with procedures which all teachers would be expected to follow and uphold.

The school is looking to develop its technology further to assist in raising the profile of the school and provide teachers better tools for teaching and learning.  Part of this exciting role will be to do some teacher training.

If you have experience of working in the Africa this will be beneficial.  We are looking for teachers that would be flexible to adapt in this growing region.  There is a lot of development going on in the region so we are looking for someone who is a team player and more of a "doer" or "go-getter" character.
