The Principal is looking for someone that is dynamic and someone that can be innovative to provide the school ideas to develop the library better. The school recently has invested into new technology and they want someone that can make a difference using the new technology they have invested into.
Requirements:
**Degree in Library Studies or
**Master in in Library studies
**Ideally 2 years experience
**Native speaker of English
**Western qualified and trained
The school has recently grown in student numbers and also developed a new swimming pool and currently finishing up a new astro turf field. This is an excellent school that is growing in reputation and has out-performed standards in the UK. The school has more international students than national students and teachers are also trained from the west.
Salary Package
**Paying up to $2600 per month AFTER TAX
**FREE accommodation which is fully furnished - a 2 bedroom duplex apartment with appliances (covering bed, wardrobe, microwave, kettle etc)
**FREE utility monthly allowance at of $100 which teachers have said can cover internet, lights and electricity
**FREE annual flight to Zambia from place of recruitment or home country

**Baggage allowance up to £1250 at the start of the contract from place of recruitment or home country
**Baggage allowance up to £1250 at the end of the contract from Zambia to destination
**A FREE one time settling in allowance of 4000ZMW this is about £500

**Resigning bonus of £1300
**FREE annual flights after you have resigned your contract
**10% gratuity bonus on the gross salary at the end of the 2 year contract
**A 2 year contract that is renewable on mutual agreement
You need to be someone that knows about how to setup and operate a library and use your initiate to really get the best from the resources you have. The Library will become a key area as the school will take on more expatriate staff to ensure that teaching and learning also uses the Library as a key resources and study area to develop teaching and learning.
You need to be well organised and able to promote new facilities to the school and students as well as ensure that your library is clean and organised.
This is an exciting new role that will have more scope for potential once you get started.
Remuneration Package
Salary Range:
A salary up to 1600
GBP (British Pound) per month
based on experience and qualification,
