Islamic school for girls in Doha, is looking for teachers of Early Years to start in August 2015. We are now considering CV's for teaching jobs in 2015.

If you have worked in an Islamic school before and have excellent understanding of the cultural aspects of Islam or the Arabic world, but have been trained in the UK, USA, Canada, Ireland, Australia or NZ you would be ideal for this school.

You will need to be a teacher that is passionate about making a difference to students lives in a country that is growing and developing to enhance the lives of females students. Most of the students are from an Arabic background but want to aspire to go on to leading universities and so the key years of their education career are to be developed

Requirements to apply

**Degree in Early Childhood

**At least 2 years teaching experience

**A PGCE in Early Childhood with QTS or EYPS status

**A native speaker of English

**Excellent understanding of Islamic values and ethos in a school

Al Arqam Academy

The school was established in 1996 as a private Girls’ Arabic School, but was distinctive as it included modern teaching methods and a variety of creative development programs. In 2004, keeping pace with education reforms in Qatar, the school changed to an international English curriculum, combined with a progressive Arabic and Islamic Studies syllabus. The school is a fully accredited Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) centre.

The Quran is taught with the goal of developing students' capacity for memorization, proper pronunciation and enthusiasm for learning.
