A level English Teacher job in Qatar | Teach in Qatar | Teach in Doha

Teach away in Qatar as SeekTeachers is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated female teacher of English to make a difference to students in today. We would like a teacher that has a proven track record in teaching English and raising standards.

The school is purpose built to get the best from female students. The students come mainly Arabic backgrounds so you will be teaching mainly English as a Second Language.

We are not looking for just TEFL Teacher. You MUST be fully qualified to apply for this role holding QTS or a full English Teaching License.

This role is suitable for a teaching couple or a single teacher ideally with no children due to visa complications in Qatar.

English Teacher Requirements:

**Degree in English

**A PGCE or a teaching license in English

**At least 2 years teaching experience

**Western trained

**Experience of teaching in the Middle East is beneficial

The school will pushes teacher to gain professional development in the school and you will work alongside other female expatriate teachers.

A salary from 9000 up to 12000 QAR (Qatar Riyal) per month based on experience and qualification, TAX FREE

Al Arqam Academy

The school was established in 1996 as a private Girls’ Arabic School, but was distinctive as it included modern teaching methods and a variety of creative development programs. In 2004, keeping pace with education reforms in Qatar, the school changed to an international English curriculum, combined with a progressive Arabic and Islamic Studies syllabus. The school is a fully accredited Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) centre.

Al Arqam Academy has adapted and enhanced the framework of the National Curriculum from England. In Year 11 students sit Cambridge IGCSE examinations. The Arabic and Islamic Studies programme is paramount and meets and exceeds the requirements set by The Qatari Ministry of Education. The Quran is taught with the goal of developing students' capacity for memorization, proper pronunciation and enthusiasm for learning.

The accommodation provided by Al Arqam Academy is not only in a perfect location but is virtually brand new and immaculate. When the owner of the school built the campus building he also constructed the accommodation building also.
