English Literature Teacher | Teach in Malaysia | January 2015 start 
 
Are you a qualified English teacher? Do you have IGCSE teaching experience? Do you want to work in the tropical Malaysia? 
 
An established international school in Seremban is hiring for an IGCSE teacher to join them in January 2015. The school adopts the British International curriculum for children from aged 5 to 16, Year 1 to IGCSE. 
 
To apply, you need to have the following:
 
*Bachelor degree in English/English literature 
*Teaching qualification such PGCE/QTS
*MUST have IGCSE/British curriculum teaching experience
*English native speaker
*Minimum of 3 years teaching experience
*Flexible to adapt into new culture 
*Available to start in January 2015a
 
Duties and responsibilities:
 
- Plan, prepare and deliver lessons in line with curriculum objectives
- Ensure the syllabus and curriculum are up-to-date
- Assess, record progress and prepare for examinations
- Organise and take part in the school events
- Communicate well with colleagues and parents 
- Maintain classroom discipline 
- Coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification
Experience:
3 Years
Type of Staff:
Male or Female can apply to this job
Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Prefer candidates with international experience
Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 6,000 up to 8,000  MYR (Malaysian Ringgit) per month based on experience and qualification, 10-25 % Tax is applied
Housing:
Housing allowance of RM1,500  MYR (Malaysian Ringgit) provided
Medical:
State/Public medical provided
Flights:
Flight(s) provided
Bereavement Leave:
Bereavement leave given
Emergency Evacuation:

Tuition fees covered for children:

80% % discount is offered for child 1
