SeekTeachers are seeking a number of teachers of ESL to work in the UAE with a well-established local school. The school requirements as below:
Must be a fully qualified teacher
Must have a TEFL certificate or equivalent
Minimum of two years teaching experience
Native speaker of English
Must have UK curriculum experience
ESL teaching roles:
**Strong English teaching abilities
**Able to interact with the students as well as keeping them under control
**Understand and take time for the student as some of them will not be as fluent as others.
**assess the students on a weekly basis
**Report to you Head of department in regards to the students’ progress
**Attend weekly meeting for teachers
**help out with after school activities
**Keep a track record of the children to produce to the parents on parents evening
Our client was established around 20 years ago by the government of the UAE. It is used to help local Arabic children to improve their English and give them a better chance for the future.
The school has 5 campuses spread across the UAE in different states. The biggest is located in the capital state, Abu Dhabi.
They have a total of around 3000 local Emirati children attending the school, all ages between 14-18.
Each campus has a capacity of holding up to 1000 students and will continue to grow.
