Description

We are currently recruiting for a PYP Primary teacher to join our client in Beijing China. The position is permanent and to start in January 2015.
 
This international school is located in the suburb of Beijing city with a large and modern campus. This school currently catering for 2,000 students composed of 10% expatriate students and 90% non-expatriate students. There are approximately 200 teaching staff in the schol at present.  All the expatriate teachers are qualified western trained English native speaker.
 
The facilities in the campus are excellent equipped, include air conditioned classrooms, smart board and computer in each classroom, high speed internet within the premises, libraries, science labs, ICT labs, auditorium, multi-purpose hall, gymnasium, tennis courts, football field, indoor 25m swimming pool, athletic tracks, soft toy indoor playroom, indoor and outdoor playground, medical centre and cafeteria.
 
This is one of the largest fully authorised International Baccalaureate (IB) world school in the country and offers PYP, MYP, DP programme for students from K-12 aged 3 to 18. Continuing professional development is provided to ensure staff success and promotion of high quality learning and teaching. The work hour consists of 35 hours Monday to Friday, and teachers normally get 60 days holiday per annum.

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification
Experience:

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Prefer candidates with international experience
Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 15,000 up to 23,000  CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) per month based on experience and qualification, 10-25 % Tax is applied
