This is a great opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic SEN specialist to work for one of the popular international schools in Malaysia. The position is to further develop the support and provision for student with SEN within the school. You will work closely with SENCo and the school support team.

This private international school follows the UK and Wales national curriculum for students from Year 1 to Year 11. The number of students in the school is 500 aged 5-16 composed of 20% expatriate students and 80% Malaysian national students.
Job descriptions
*Identify and adopt the most effective teaching approaches for students with SEN
*Monitor teaching and learning activities to meet the needs of students with SEN
*Set targets for raising achievement among students with SEN
*Set up systems for identifying, assessing and reviewing SEN
*Develop understanding of learning needs and the importance of raising achievement among students
*Teach 1 to 1 sessions with students with significant SEN
*Provide training opportunities for learning support assistants and other teachers to learn about SEN
*Participate in parents meeting
*Participate in development training activities
The school is located only 20 minutes from the Kuala Lumpur international airport and 15 minutes from the Formula 1 racing tracks.
