They would prefer a candidate that has experience of deliver the UK curriculum but this is not mandatory. Teachers must be specialist in mathematics and NQT’s are welcome to apply. Experience of the UAE would be beneficial to the candidate. All candidates must be qualified from a western country and a native English speaker.
Teacher of mathematics Responsibilities:
**implement the UK curriculum and explain the difference it can make on their lives
**Ensure that your students are continuously engaged in the lesson
**Ensure your lessons are differentiated to meet the needs of all of your students
**Ensure that lessons are planned before the execution
**Provide a backup support to all other teachers in your department
**Stay behind once a week to attend a meeting with the teachers to discuss problems and ways to improve the lessons
The school has around 1200 students attending and approximately 50 different nationalities. The nationalities include of all western countries and many other countries around the world. The teachers on the other hand are all from native English speaking countries such as UK, Ireland, Canada, America New Zealand and Australia.
