Description

SeekTeachers is seeking for an English teacher to join them in the next Academic year. The position is permanent and based in Cairo, Egypt.

Our client is a British international school located approximately 45mins away from Cairo city centre. The school has a large purpose built campus with great range of facilities. The school has just over 1,000 students at present aged from 3 to 18 with over 20 different nationalities. All the teaching staff in the school are qualified teachers coming from the UK, Ireland, USA, Australia, Europe and other countries.
 
The school is looking for a qualified English teacher to start in August 2015. An ideal candidate should have:
 
- Bachelor degree or higher in English or relevant subject
- Teaching qualification such as PGCE/Teaching license/Diploma
- Minimum of 3 years teaching experience
- English native speaker
- Experience in either the British or IB curriculum
- Flexible to adapt into new culture

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification
Experience:
3 Years

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Prefer candidates with international experience
Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 14,000 up to 18,000  GBP (British Pound) per annum based on experience and qualification, TAX FREE
Housing:
Housing allowance of 4,000 EGP  GBP (British Pound) provided

State/Public medical provided
Flights:
Flight(s) provided
Bereavement Leave:
Bereavement leave given

Contract Length:
2 years contract renewable on mutual agreement
