Description

Male ICT Teacher needed ASAP in Abu Dhabi. Our client is looking for a teacher of ICT that meets the following requirement;
**Degree in Computing or ICT related subject
**A PGCE or teaching qualification
**At least 2 years full time teaching experience
**Stable work experience with little movement and supply work on the CV
**Be a native speaker of English
**Western trained
**Able to use a VLE and IWB
 
The school has recently brought in a VLE and so experience of using one is beneficial. The school delivers the Common Core standards as well as the IB curriculum and last year was accredited by AdvancED. The school is now working to becoming and IB world school so if you have experience of the ITGS curriculum this will be beneficial
 
Job Description
**Plan effective lessons of ICT to ensure students are able to use ICT skills in other subjects
**Create resources prior to your lessons so your students are focused on and on task
**Experience using MS Office and multimedia software like Dreamweaver, Flash, Director is essential
**Have excellent classroom management
**Be able assess students digitally
**Ensure students reporting are all up to date as per the school online computer system
**Work closely with ICT Technician's to get the support needed to deliver high calibre lessons
**Report to the Head of Department for ICT
**Attend weekly staff meetings and contribute
**Ensure computer equipment is safe so there are no hazards in the classroom

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Newly Qualified Teachers are NOT considered
Prefer candidates with international experience
Additional:
**Experience of the IB Curriculum is beneficial but not essential as training will be given
**Degree MUST be in an ICT related subject

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 12000 up to 14800   AED (UAE Dirham) per month based on experience and qualification, TAX FREE

500AED per month
