Seekteachers is hiring a Secondary Art teacher on behalf of our client in Cairo to commence in August 2015. An ideal candidate should have the following: 
 
- Bachelor degree in Art/Education or relevant subject; 
- Teaching qualification from Western countries;
- 3 years teaching experience, preferably in UK curriculum;
- English native speaker;
 
The British school is situated in the heart of Cairo and has a large expatriate community. The school area is safe and quiet and provides a good learning and teaching environment for both students and teachers. There are over 1000 students at present with approximately 120 school staff. Student are ranging from 5 to 18 year old studying from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 5 and International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). The students are consists of 95% non-expatriates and 5% expatriates. School staffs are consists of 80% expatriates and 20% non-expatriates. 
 
Job specification:
 
**Understand UK and IB curriculum and the developmental needs of students
**Set clear targets for students and raise the academic achievement 
**Participate in school activities and clubs
**Create a fun, interesting and exciting lessons for the student
**Maintain classroom order and discipine and report to the school and parents appropriately  
**Register student attendances 
**Deliver lesson by using ICT
 
The school management team will be visiting London in November 2015 for the recuitment fair. Only shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend the face to face interview in London.

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Prefer candidates with international experience
Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 14,000 up to 18,000  GBP (British Pound) per annum based on experience and qualification, TAX FREE
Housing:
Housing allowance of 4,000 EGP  GBP (British Pound) provided
