Our client is an international school located in Cairo, Egypt and is currently looking for a qualified History teacher to join them in August 2015. The international school adopts the British curriculum and International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) and caters for children from aged 3 to 18.
 
The school is located 40 mins away from Cairo city centre and has a large, purpose built campus with great range of facilities. The whole school has over 1,000 students at present with over 20 different nationalities. There are over 100 teaching staff in the school comprised of 90% expatriates mainly from the UK and 10% local staff.
 
Requirements to apply:
 
- Bachelor degree in History or relevant subject
- Teaching qualification such as PGCE/QTS/Teaching diploma
- Minimum of 3 years teaching experience
- English native speaker
- Good understanding of the UK curriculum is beneficial

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification
Experience:

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Prefer candidates with international experience
Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 14,000 up to 18,000  GBP (British Pound) per annum based on experience and qualification, TAX FREE
Housing:
Housing allowance of 4,000 EGP  GBP (British Pound) provided
Medical:
State/Public medical provided
Flights:
Flight(s) provided
Bereavement Leave:
Bereavement leave given

Contract Length:
2 years contract renewable on mutual agreement
