Zak is looking for an excellent, dynamic, highly motivated teacher of English to join a thriving school in Zambia starting August 2015
As a preferred agency we work closely with the principal to recruit for this school. The principal has made a massive positive impact since joining by increasing student enrolment, reducing staff turnover, purchasing more land and equipment so morale at this school is great.
The school is accredited by the council of international schools and recently invested in further school premises to deliver a better quality of service to the students. The school is a community-spirited. The team work well to make this school one of the TOP schools in Zambia. Students come from an array of international countries and the teachers are mainly western with some local teachers. International teachers work closely with the local teachers to raise their standard and so the students get the best of expat and local teaching methodology.
The school promotes a enquiry based learning model so students are prepared for life after high school.
Requirement to apply:
**Degree in English language or Literature
**A PGCE in English
**At least 3 years of full time teaching experience
**A high command of written and spoken English
**Tech-savvy to use technology in the classroom
Job Description:
**Plan effective lesson of English to be able to deliver up to A level
**Create resources in advance of your lessons
**Carry out formative and summative assessment
**Use technology in the classroom to teach more engaging lessons
**Provide on-going feedback to your students
**Carry out after school clubs for students that need more support
**Attend parent's evening and set goals with parents to enhance students teaching and learning
**Contribute to school trips
**Be able to share or contribute to extra-curricular activities
**Be a good role model
**Have good classroom management skills
**Be a good team player and flexible
**be able to work well with colleagues from different nationalities and learn different teaching styles
**Be prepared to go on additional staff CPD
We are looking for an English Teacher to join in January and also for a teacher to join in August 2015.

Qualification:

M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Prefer candidates with international experience
Additional:
**Experience of teaching in Africa is preferred.
**Experience of teaching up to A level in your respective subject is desired
Remuneration Package
Salary Range:
A salary up to 1600
GBP (British Pound) per month
based on experience and qualification,

£65 per month
