PE Teacher interviews in London for a UK British Curriculum school in Zambia
SeekTeachers is looking for 2 teachers in Physical Education to join our client that is recruiting for 2015. The Principal will be coming to London and to interview in person around November 11th. the exact venue is to be confirmed and will be announced soon but we are shortlisting for this now.
Requirement:
**Degree in Physical Education or equivalent
**A PGCE in PE or a teaching licence
**At least 3 years of teaching experience
**Be a western trained candidate that has a high command of written and spoken English
**Be up to date with modern teaching practise to promote an enquiry based learning model
You need to be in London to attend an interview in person around 11th/12th November
This school delivers the national curriculum of England and Wales and has around 700 students that are of mixed backgrounds. It has about 40 different nationalities at the school right now and growing and is one of the TOP schools in the region. The Principal is well experienced and has been at the school for some time. Students are keen to learn and so there will be little concern when it comes to behaviour management.
Job Description:
**Plan and prepare effective lesson of PE to ideally be able to deliver up to A level
**Different PE lessons to meet the needs of your learners
**Assess your students on an on-going basis to ensure that students get the best chance to learn and develop and reflect on what is needed to achieve higher
**Have excellent classroom management skills
**Be a good team player and be flexible to adapt to the culture of teaching in Zambia
**Be prepared to go on professional develop courses
**Assisting in after school clubs and activities
**Attend parent's evening
**Be a good role model for your students
**Ensure your students practise and also go through the theory of sport in a safe and practical environment
**The report to the Head of Department
**Attend weekly staff debriefings and contribute
