Our client is one of the popular private international institute offers Cambridge curriculum to students from IGCSE to A-Level aged 15-18 as to build a bridge that leads Chinese high school students to the world's first-class universities.
 
This school campus is located in the heart of Shanghai university area and provide a safe and quiet learning environment for all students. The school facilities are well-equipped, including climate control classroom, WiFi and computer in each classroom, learning resources centre, science labs, language lab, multi-purpose hall, gymnasium, basketball court and cafeteria.
 
This school has approximately 300 Chinese students at present with 40 teaching staff. All the teaching staff are qualified teachers comprised of  local and international staffs, mainly from UK and the USA.  All staff are highly trained, professional and with international mindset. The teaching hour consists 40 hour per week and teacher normally get 6-8 weeks holiday per annum.

Duties and responsibilities:
 
- Contributing to the excellence of teaching and learning on IGCSE & A’Level Chemistry
- Plan, prepare and deliver lessons to students up to A’Level align with up to date syllabus
- Monitor, evaluate and record students’ learning progress and attainment
- To review pedagogy regularly in order to ensure the most effective and suitable style to improve student performance
- Set and mark assignments and exams
- Maintain good order and discipline among students
- Communicate with parents and ensure they aware of their children’s progress
- Participate in meetings with parents
- Participate in school/department meetings

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification
Experience:
2 Years

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Prefer candidates with international experience
Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 18,000 up to 28,000  CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) per month based on experience and qualification, 10-25 % Tax is applied
Housing:
Housing allowance of 5000RMB  CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) provided
Medical:
State/Public medical provided
Flights:
8,000RMB  CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) Allowance is provided
Bereavement Leave:
Bereavement leave given
Emergency Evacuation:
Emergency evacuation given
Contract Length:
2 years contract renewable on mutual agreement
