SeekTeachers is seeking a Mathematics teacher to join our client in Malaysia. The international school was first established in the early 90s and adopt the British curriculum for children from Kindergarten to IGCSE. You will have to meet the following requirements in order to apply: 
 
- Bachelor degree in Mathematics/Education
- Teaching qualification such as PGCE/QTS/Teaching license 
- Native English speaker 
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience
- Must have good understanding of the UK curriculum
 
This international school has about 500 students aged from 3 to 16. The students are made up of mainly non-expatriates with a small percentage of expatriates. Students are eager to work, discipline and hardworking. The teaching staff however, is made up of mostly expatriates coming from UK, Australia, New Zealand and USA. The teaching staff are all qualified teachers, friendly and professional. 
 
The international school is located in Kuala Lumpur has a large purpose built campus. You will have access to a variety of facilities which include air-conditioned classrooms, interactive smart boards, library resource centre, basketball court, playing field, swimming pool, science lab, computer labs, living skills workshop, music room, book shop and 24 hour security system. 
 
Kuala Lumpur is a sociable and safe place with good nightlife and interesting monuments.  The best of Kuala Lumpur's attractions, including the world famous Twin Towers to the colonial core around Merdeka Square, the Chinatown and Little India, the restaurants, shops and nightlife, the modern sector of downtown KL. It can be equally rewarding just strolling and taking in Kuala Lumpur's street life, in particular its markets, ranging from stalls selling food of every types to the inexpensive clothes and accessories.

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification
Experience:

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Prefer candidates with international experience
Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 7,000 up to 9,000  MYR (Malaysian Ringgit) per month based on experience and qualification, 10-25 % Tax is applied
Housing:
Housing allowance of RM1,500   MYR (Malaysian Ringgit) provided
