This is a permanent position based in the busy and beautiful Shanghai, China.
You will be shortlisted only if you meet the following requirements:
**Bachelor Degree in Art/relevant subject (minimum 2:1 or above)
**Teaching qualification from western countries
**Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in Art & Design
**Good understanding of CIE syllabus
**Experience in teaching ESL students is desired
**Excellent fluent or native English speaker
**Flexible and easy to adapt to new culture
This private school in China follows UK national curriculum for students from IGCSE to A’Level. The number of student in the school is 200 at present and they are all local Chinese national. - Plan, prepare and deliver lessons to students up to A’Level Art & Design align with up to date syllabus
- Monitor, record and access pupils’ progress and attainment
- Set clear targets for students to improve their performance
- Maintain good order and classroom disciplines
- Ensure parents aware of student’s learning progress
- Participate in parents meeting
- Participate in continuous professional development activities
