SeekTeachers is now recruiting for a History teacher on behalf of our client in Malaysia. This position is permanent and based in the capital city, Kuala Lumpur.
 
This is one of the popular private international institutes in Malaysia and was established since 1970s. The school has 5 campuses in the country and the headquarter is in Kuala Lumpur (KL). Each campus has highly equipped facilities: Air conditioned classrooms, science labs, ICT labs, music centres, art & design centres, libraries, swimming pool, outdoor fields, cafeteria and residential hall for borders in the KL campus.
 
The Kuala Lumpur campus has a safe, and stress-free environment for both students and teachers. There are approximately 800 students from nursery to key stage 5 aged 3-18 and the students are from over 20 countries and nationalities. This school offers both British National Curriculum and International Baccalaureate (IB) to ensure meet all the individual needs.

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification
Experience:
2 Years
Type of Staff:
Male or Female can apply to this job
Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Prefer candidates with international experience
Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 7,000 up to 9,000  MYR (Malaysian Ringgit) per month based on experience and qualification, 10-25 % Tax is applied
Housing:
Housing allowance of RM1,000  MYR (Malaysian Ringgit) provided
Medical:
State/Public medical provided
Flights:
Flight(s) provided
Bereavement Leave:
Bereavement leave given
Emergency Evacuation:
Emergency evacuation given
Contract Length:
2 years contract renewable on mutual agreement
Additional information:
