Our prestigious client in Malaysia is currently hiring an enthusiastic and dynamic Humanities teacher to join the team. This is a permanent position based in southern Malaysia, which only 45 minutes from Singapore.
 
The school has a large newly built campus with excellent facilities include air-conditioned classrooms, libraries, science labs, ICT lab, art & design studio, music studio, gymnasium, tennis courts, basketball courts, football fields, athletic tracks, indoor and outdoor swimming pool and cafeterias.

Job description:
 
*Familiar with the UK National Curriculum
*Planning, preparing and delivering lessons for Key Stage 3 & 4 students
*Maintain discipline in the class
*Maintain assessment and recording of pupils’ development
*Ensure appropriate curriculum provision
*Communicate with parents and ensure they aware of their child’s progress
*Participate in school/parents’ meetings
*Participate in CPD workshop activities
*Flexible and adaptable to new culture
*Be able to work individually as well as working as a member of a team

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification
Experience:
2 Years

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Prefer candidates with international experience
Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 8,000 up to 10,000  MYR (Malaysian Ringgit) per month based on experience and qualification, 10-25 % Tax is applied
Housing:
Housing allowance of RM1,500   MYR (Malaysian Ringgit) provided
