SeekTeachers is looking for a strong Nursery Manager to start as soon as possible for a flagship nursery in the Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

This group already has four nurseries and is set to expand and grow the brand even further. It is one of the most eco-friendly of nurseries and the Managing Director has extensive experience of working and building nursies in the UK and in the UAE. You will be fully supported in the transition to this role if you are appointed.

Job Responsibiliies;
**Overview the EYFS curriculum in the nursery
**Recruit and retain teachers
**Review, update and create policies and procedures as per the organisations ethos and values
**Actively promote the nursery in the community
**Be involved in the strategic online marketing of the nursery to incrrease brand awarness
**Be responsible for the overall safety of students and staff
**Meet and greet with parents when possible
**Carry out nursery tours
**Attend SMT meetings with the Managing Director and/orthe Director
**Be able to manage a small budget for your nursery
**Promote the use of technology in the nursery and ensure both students and staff are getting the best from it
**Carry out staff obvservations and appraisals
**Be a good team player and role model for your staff
**Carry out staff debriefings and address all points to be raised
**To manage all day to day operations of the nursery
**To provide day to day guidance, training and support to all staff 

We are ideally looking for someone who has expertise of the EYFS but also has good business accumin and can adapt to the working culture in the Middle East. This is an excellent organisation to work for that values and respects its staff. 

On a recent visit to the UAE, we met with the Managing Director who gave us and EXCELLENT insight to the organisation and what makes it so good compared to the rest of the nurseries in the region.  With fierce competition in  the region, most organisations are reluctant to share good practise outside of the four walls of the building BUT this nursery has an open door policy for nurseries to come and visit to see why it has been supported by the Ministry of Education.
 

Being a flagship organisation in Dubai, the owner is looking for a Directress that will have

**Degree in Early Childhood with EYPS status or equivalent 

**Excellent knowledge of Health and Safety legislation 

**Knowledge of OFSTED standards or equivalent

**Excellent knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage

**Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to targets and deadlines 

**Good time management skills 

**Excellent communication skills 

**Strong people management skills 

**Knowledge and understanding of equal opportunities/ SENCO etc 

**Previous relevant supervisory experience
