SeekTeachers is recruiting for a Primary teacher on behalf of our client in Malaysia. This international school is located in the suburb of Kuala Lumpur and only 45 mins away from the International Airport.
The school has a large modern purpose built campus and follows IPC (International Primary Curriculum) and National Curriculum for England up to A Level. There are over 1000 students studying in the school at present with age ranging from 3 to 18 years of age. Malaysian students made up to 95% of the student population with a small amount of expatriate students coming from UK, USA, Australia, New Zealand and Canada.
Roles and responsibilities:
**Ensure all classes are taught according to the curriculum and examination syllabus
**Work closely with other staff in the relevant department
**Carry out any other reasonable duties given by the Head
**Ensure all the learning resources and materials are up-to-date
**Teach across the age and ability range as necessary
**Liaise closely with the Head of Department on all matters relating to Primary teaching
**Maintain classroom discipline and ensure student behave appropriately
**Ensure students' safety within the school environment
