Our client is a private international school located in Penang, Peninsular Malaysia. The international school provides educational service to students from aged 5-16 year old. The school offers UK curriculum for the 400 students in the school. The students are comprised of 90% local Malaysian students with 10% expatriate students.
 
The international school is looking for an experienced and professional Key Stage 2 teacher to join them in January 2015. The candidate is  expected to perform the following duties:
 
** Monitor student progress and development
** Plan lessons by applying various teaching methods
** Give feedback to the parents and attend parents meeting
** Be a good role model to students
** Set tasks and course works for students
** Check and mark student course works, home works and examination
** Participate in school activities and after school club
** Attend training programme arrange by the school
 
The school is set on a 5 acres land with a modern campus.  The school is equipped with a great range of facilities which include air- conditioned classrooms, library, science lab, ICT labs, basketball court, music room, track field, prayer room, canteen, health room and a huge indoor multi-purpose hall. The school is located within a residential area and is very closed to shops and other amenities.

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification
Experience:
2 Years
Type of Staff:
Male or Female can apply to this job
Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Prefer candidates with international experience
Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 8,000 up to 10,000  MYR (Malaysian Ringgit) per month based on experience and qualification, 10-25 % Tax is applied
Housing:
Housing allowance of RM1,000  MYR (Malaysian Ringgit) provided

State/Public medical provided
